Welcome! I am currently a Data Analyst / Statistical Programmer at The College Board. Before coming to College Board, I received my Ph.D. in Political Science at George Washington University. I will also be an Assistant Professor at Haverford College in Fall 2020. My academic research addresses topics of foreign propaganda, authoritarian information politics, international democratization, and the lingering influence of misinformation, as well as their implications for U.S. foreign policy.
My dissertation, Manufacturing Dissent: The Subtle Ways International Propaganda Shapes Our Politics, focused on the influence of international propaganda and the effectiveness of our counter-propaganda programs. I have been awarded the 'Trajectories of Change' Fieldwork Grant from the ZEIT-Stiftung Ebelin und Gerd Bucerius, the Hoffman Dissertation Fellowship from the Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies (IERES), and the Dean’s Dissertation Completion Fellowship and Summer Dissertation Fellowship from George Washington University. My research has also been supported by the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, the Institute for Humane Studies, and the Rumsfeld Foundation. I have papers published in the International Journal of Public Opinion Research, Perspectives on Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Post Soviet Affairs.
